Okay, you’re killing me with the bright yellow.
Thanks for these simple, powerful words. I’m praying about fasting right now…fasting from things in my life that have become too necessary.
I apologize again for my abrupt email last night. I’ve been in a funk and I need to just keep quiet and not take it out on people. Sorry.

Fasting is a place where one puts themselves deliberately in God’s path. Sometimes it comes from giving up something, but more often it is replacing something. I pray you create a space where you can hear His still small voice in the void of what you give up, and also in whatever replaces that.
You have no apologies with regards to your email. It was not only just and righteous (although you might disagree), it was very necessary to help me make sure that I had not stepped outside of God’s perspective. If you were taking things out on me, then that was an unfortunate impetus, but it was not felt as such by me.
And as you have granted to me, forgiveness and grace are yours. (even if I don’t feel you need them in this instance, they are yours gratefully)
