A holy madness fell on one

who was willing to serve

 

Tainted and corrupted

interrupted

by the momentary clarity of reason

Freeing and divine

aligned

with the purpose of a sacrificial season

Given and spent

repent

from the trappings of the self

Transparent and kind

find

one in a place without worldly wealth

Despised and dejected

injected

into a world that needs healing

Reconciled and schemed

redeemed

by the promise of His sealing

 

An interruption of ideals accepted

destructive ways of the world rejected
